Meet Dr. Randy Waskin
Dr. Randy Waskin is a residency trained board certified family medicine physician and the founder and leader of Elite Primary Care, Wilmington’s premier direct primary care practice. He has extensive experience in all aspects of medicine, from bedside care as an orderly to adjunct professor at a Big 10 medical school.
Dr. Waskin received his Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Albion College in Michigan. He completed his MD at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston while in the Naval Reserves. He then went on active duty in the Navy, serving 7-1/2 years as a resident and flight surgeon. After leaving the Navy he returned to civilian medicine and finished his residency in family medicine as a Chief Resident at the University of Wisconsin. His civilian career spans four continents and encompasses family medicine, emergency medicine, and urgent care practice as well as multiple clinical and administrative leadership positions.
Dr. Waskin and his wife Jamie, an RN with over 30 years of experience, live in Wilmington with their daughters, their dogs, and two high school senior international students. When not at work they enjoy traveling, cooking, music, theater, and family nights at home.
