Meet Dr. Randy Waskin
Dr. Randy Waskin is a residency trained board certified family medicine physician and the founder and leader of Elite Primary Care, Wilmington’s premier direct primary care practice. He offers exclusive care through a model of concierge medicine that prioritizes personal healthcare for each patient. With extensive experience in all aspects of medicine, Dr. Waskin's journey began as an orderly and progressed to becoming an adjunct professor at a Big 10 medical school.
Dr. Waskin earned his Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Albion College in Michigan and completed his MD at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston while serving in the Naval Reserves. Following this, he went on active duty in the Navy, where he served 7-1/2 years as a resident and flight surgeon. After leaving the Navy, he returned to civilian medicine and completed his residency in family medicine as the Chief Resident at the University of Wisconsin. His civilian career spans four continents and includes roles in family medicine, emergency medicine, and urgent care practice, alongside multiple clinical and administrative leadership positions.
Dr. Waskin and his wife Jamie, an RN with over 30 years of experience, reside in Wilmington with their daughters, their dogs, and two high school senior international students. When not at work, they enjoy traveling, cooking, music, theater, and family nights at home.
